About the firm

Counsel you can count on

Precious N. McLaughlin, Esq.

Founder & Attorney

Precious N. McLaughlin, Esq.

Precious founded McLaughlin Legal, PLLC in Charlotte in 2026 to give creatives, entrepreneurs, and working people counsel they can depend on. She is licensed to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Her work starts from a simple belief: all work has dignity. She helps business owners build on solid legal footing, and she stands with employees when their livelihood is on the line. Either way, you get clear answers, honest advice, and an attorney who follows through.

Before starting the firm, Precious handled commercial litigation, employment, and workplace compliance matters in state and federal court. She also teaches Media Law as an adjunct professor at Francis Marion University and is completing a master's degree in Organizational Psychology at UNC Charlotte. A South Carolina native, she serves on the Board of Directors of KinderMourn.
