For larger projects, there are three ways to engage the firm. The option and fees are confirmed in a written engagement letter before work begins.
Hourly
$350per hour
Pay as the work happens. Best if your needs may change as we go and you want to approve things step by step.
Billed in 0.1-hour increments · $1,750 deposit at signing, held in the firm's trust account and used to pay monthly invoices · Written fee estimate, with a check-in before fees reach the high estimate
Flat Fee, Your Choice
From $650
Pay only for the pieces you need. Each service has a fixed price. Best if you need only part of the work now, or want to start small.
Operating agreement $1,750 · Trademark clearance search and opinion $650 · Trademark filing, 2 classes $900 plus filing fees · Contract template (revolving MSA/SOW) $1,200 · Review of three contracts $900 · 100% of your selected total due at signing
IP Foundation Package
$4,750
Everything in one project, one price. The same work costs $5,400 if bought separately. Best if you want one decision and a known cost.
Operating agreement · Trademark clearance search and opinion, then filing in two classes, plus filing fees · Contract template (revolving MSA/SOW) with IP ownership and liability clauses · Review of three existing contracts with a risk summary and redline · Two installments of $2,375: at signing, and when the operating agreement is delivered and the trademark is filed
