Precious N. McLaughlin, Esq. is the founder of McLaughlin Legal, PLLC, licensed to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina. Before founding the firm, she practiced commercial and employment litigation in Charlotte, representing businesses and individuals in breach of contract, non-compete, wage and hour, and workplace discrimination matters in state and federal court.

Her practice centers on employment law, business counsel, and workers' rights, with a particular focus on serving creative entrepreneurs. She believes legal advocacy works best when it's paired with empathy — clients deserve counsel that understands both the law and what's actually at stake for them.

Precious earned her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, graduating with pro bono honors, and her B.S. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Francis Marion University. She serves on the Board of Directors of KinderMourn, a Charlotte nonprofit supporting grieving families.
